The Hottest New Baguettes in NYC

From design to production phases, PTI partnered with Francois Payard Bakery to create resuable PP non-woven bags to eliminate the use of non-recyclable plastic bags. FPB will be one of the first bakeries around to provide customers with reusable bags to hold all their delectable treats. The packaging used for all pastries and cakes is also 100% recyclable paper board. If you enjoy fresh homemade goods and cute reusable bags, check out FPB located on 116 West Houston street (Opening early September)!

Green Packaging

Andrew Miller, a student from University of the Arts, researched and observed packaging production and customer's interaction with the packaging at McDonald's. Andrew Miller noticed that only 30% of the packaging is recyclable and people rip the paper bag to use it as a tray. The final design of the packaging is a bio-degradable grass bag, grease-proof and has three folds that separates the fries, burger and the sauce to eliminate extra paper packaging.
