Sustainable Packaging

Whether it is zongzi, banh te, tamales, pamonha, hallaca, or corunda, sustainable food packaging has been a tradition in both asian and spanish culture for over hundreds of years. All these different foods are variations of stuffed glutinous rice, vegetables, beans, and meats wrapped in either bamboo leaves or corn husks. Each variation has its own story of origin, but best of all, each culture has created its own sustainable food packaging. Using natural, organic products to package the delicious foods drastically reduces costs and wastes in our world and in our environment. This is packaging at its most elemental state!
