Packaging- Stressful or Beneficial?

Stressful packaging

"Frustration -Free" packaging

Packaging Is All the Rage, and Not in a Good Way

Companies like Amazon and Philips switched to "frustration -free" packaging that avoids the use of non- recyclable plastic cases and air bubble wraps. The Amazon site received seventy-three percent less negative feedback! "Frustration-free" packaging is quicker to produce, cheaper and hundred percent eco- friendly (only use recyclable and recycled materials)!

So why is Target and Walmart still using traditional packaging? Because new change equals time and money. Traditional packaging also prevents shoplifting and stealing because it is complicated and harder to open (usually need scissors or a knife to cut plastic packaging).

Target and Walmart may disagree with "frustration -free" packaging but they are experimenting with e-commerce friendly packaging. Other companies who believe in the idea of "frustration- free" packaging, like Duracell, Bounty and Tide, presented their own version of "frustration -free" packaging that is sustainable and accessible.
